The project will widen the existing 1-215 Freeway by providing one additional basic lane in each direction between 1-15 and Windmill Lane and auxiliary lanes to improve operations. The project will include widening four post-tensioned cast in place concrete bridges along 1-215 over the Airport Connector, Paradise Road, Warm Springs Road, and Robindale Road. The project also includes widening a steel bridge over Duck Creek in addition to concr~te culvert structures, portland cement concrete and bituminous pavement, rubberized asphalt surface, concrete barriers, as well as miscellaneous lighting and traffic signal modifications, MSE walls, overhead/ground mounted freeway guide signs and conventional signs in addition to traffic control, excavation and embankment, miscellaneous roadway improvements and incidentals. The structural work includes drilled shaft foundation.
