The Terminal 3 Apron project is a portion of the civil component associated with the construction of the new 14-gate Terminal 3 Building at McCarran International Airport. The project includes site excavation, placement of PCC and batch plant operations, placement of aggregate base, demolition of asphalt pavement, Portland Cement Concrete Pavement, chain link fence, apron edge lighting utility installations, construction of drainage facilities and underground structures. Underground utility installations include subgrade preparation, water, sewer and gas lines. An underground jet fuel delivery system consisting of pipelines, valve vaults, hydrant pits and EFSO vault and tie-ins to existing fuel system. New electrical, communication duct banks, apron taxi lane centerline lighting are required. Apron lighting will also include high mast lighting for new equipment parking areas.
