Project construction includes the removal and replacement of existing fuel, water, sewer, storm drain, trench drain, taxiway centerline/edge light, high mast light, blast wall and emergency fuel shutoff systems with upgraded equipment and materials. All existing surfaces will be removed and regraded. 17” Portland Cement Concrete will replace existing pavement and a 30,000 gallon Oil/Water separator will be installed. Phase 1 saw the removal of 67,000cy of combined Asphalt/Concrete/Soil, the installation of 4,000lf of utility piping, 6,000lf of Ductbank & 1,200lf of Jet Fuel Pipe and the batching of and placement of nearly 50,000CY. Phase 2 began June 1, 2011.
