This project includes construction of a new headworks building with flow measurement, screening and grit removal and a new influent pumping station. MMC is converting eight existing oxidation ditches into bioreactors with partition walls, submerged mixers, submersible pumps and diffused aeration. In addition, MMC is constructing two blower buildings, two secondary clarifiers, a return activated sludge (RAS) pump station and a solids dewatering facility with dry polymer system pumps, belt filter presses and conveyer systems. A new maintenance building with offices, locker rooms, service bays, wash bays and a new electrical building with emergency generators will be incorporated into the facility. Also included in the scope of work is related demolition, site work, yard piping, yard structures, landscaping, sidewalks, site lighting, electrical work, instrumentation and control system work.
