This plant was designed to remove arsenic from the groundwater using a coagulation-filtration process with chemical addition. The project included construction of an arsenic treatment facility and a two million gallon post tension concrete tank. The treatment facility is comprised of ten vertical turbine pumps, six arsenic treatment vessels, four self cleaning filters, surge control system, associated appurtenances, piping, backup generator and a processing building.
